Anything else besides Amity? - Guild Wars Forums

I was wondering if there was any other spell available to couple with Amity?
The recast time of 60 seconds seems like would make it impossible to do proper crowd control?
Am I offbase on this?
I don't have any experience with it, but am interested in using it in my Monk/Mesmer build.
I plan on primarily PvE if that helps at all.

there's a lot of skills, from a ranger perspective only
There are skills which snare, which slow attack times, which silence casters, which interrupt casters. You're not going to make an EQ mesmer which just parks someone off to the side for 2 minutes (Wow, that's some fun PvP for the parked character), but there's plenty of strategies for shutting down opponents.

i am unsure as to whether being "unable to attack" would count as a condition, but if it did, you could use pacifism/epidemic..
